Our History

Our History

Skyform was founded in 1995 by Jim Campbell, Managing Director, and remains privately owned to this day. Originally incorporated to specialise in the supply and installation of suspended access cradles, Skyform has grown organically into into general construction works.

Company Background

We have created a strong customer base and have established ourselves as one of the leading providers of cradle access in the UK.

Skyform Specialist Contracts Ltd

Skyform (Scotland) Ltd mainly acted as sub-contractor until 2005.  The formation of Skyform Specialist Contracts Division which allowed us to tender for the type of projects which our access systems were being hired for.

Skyform Specialist Contracts Ltd was introduced with the intention of offering our customers a unique service which reduces the number of sub-contractors on any particular site. This in turn enables us to offer competitive rates, a reduction in the amount of correspondence for clients, and a greater control of services in the work site.

In 2006 we purchased new premises in Aberdeen and have employed and developed an experienced and capable team of operatives to our Specialist Division. Our advantage in Aberdeen is providing local labour which allows an increased level of customer service.

Looking to the future, Skyform are working on large scale projects which often encompass various work scopes, the majority of which are managed and successfully delivered in house, without the need for subcontractors.
